About Jill
Jill Koford is a lifelong Weber County resident of Weber County, and is running for the Utah House District 10.
Jill is a small business owner, former educator and instrument rated private pilot. Jill grew up in Ogden Canyon attended Valley Elementary, Valley Junior High, Weber High, and Weber State University. Twelve years ago, Jill received her Masters Degree in Teaching from the University of Southern California (while living here at home, of course). Jill and her husband Rod have been married for 29 years and are proud of their three great and inspiring kids Katie, Alex, and Gracie.
Agreeing what Thomas Jefferson once said, “the government closest to the people serves the people best,” Jill belies in small and limited government. The federal government continues to overreach beyond their already expansive powers, but the federal government is not the only problem, the state budget has nearly doubled in the last five years and Jill believes it is time to return to fiscal conservatism and accountability. Jill’s love of our country, and it’s inspired founding, and our state runs deep, and she believes we can do better. We can simplify, we can scale back, and we can put more control in the hands of the individual. Limited government is good government.
Jill will be a tireless advocate for the people. She will communicate openly, honestly, and frequently because the people of House District 10 deserve a representative who listens, shares their beliefs, and voices their concerns.
